Absolutely, bloody shattered.

Anything interesting happen?

Today I had planned on doing another WOD and then having a rest day tomorrow. But I woke up, in my tent, at the festival to torrential rain, was exhausted from not sleeping well and have a sore shoulder from going a bit too hard in *acroyoga the day before, so I decided it was probably a better idea to not work out today.

I feel like I am already losing strength and fitness from the partying, lack of quality sleep and not working out on Friday and today. But, I know it is extremely important to give your body a rest when you are training – especially when I’m feeling as shattered as I do today.

How are you feeling?

I am feeling tired from sleeping in a tent at the festival, and my body is sore from yesterday’s WOD. I’m also a bit ‘under the weather’ (literally)…I have a sore throat and runny nose and feel like I have been fighting off a cold for the past few days.

*Disclaimer – I am a acroyoga beginner – my session looked nothing like this ;-)
