After dinner the nausea was the worst it has been so far. I struggled to keep my food down. I got through about half of it and then couldn’t eat anymore. This isn’t uncommon – I haven’t been able to finish a lot of my meals because I start feeling nauseous but tonight was next level yuk.
I’m not going to post much tonight as I’m not feeling that well. All day I felt great mentally – my concentration is better than usual and I feel quite alert. I don’t have the afternoon dip I sometimes get. My motivation to exercise is coming back. And I feel really positive.
If I could only solve the nausea I think I would be in a great place…
I did have salmon sashimi tonight. I don’t feel like this caused me to feel so foul but maybe it was the culprit. I’ll try it agin in a few days to see if I have the same reaction.
Breakfast:
— Green smoothie: fresh orange juice, apple, cucumber, spinach, mint, lime, prunes. A bit of a weird one but I liked it – kinda sweet and sour.
— Hot water with lemon
Lunch:
— Italian salad: avocado, cherry tomatoes, olives, olive oil, salt and pepper.
Dinner:
— Hummus platter: raw hummus, carrots, cherry tomatoes, miso pickled cucumber, (recipe below), pecans, olives.
— Salmon sashimi
Snacks:
— The rest of my breaky green smoothie
— Handful of dried fruit and nuts
— Orange
Right now – like a piece of shit.
Kris’s Miso pickled Cucumber:
Remove all or some of the skin of the cucumber (optional)
Scoop out the seedy fleshy bit
Fill this section with the miso paste
Wrap in cling film
Leave in the fridge at least 24 hours
Cut and serve
